  • What is included in my Basic Clean?

    • Kitchen (clean sink out, counter tops, cabinet faces upper and lower, stove top)

    • Bedroom  shelving, nightstands, bed frames, tidy up bed)

  • What is included in my Deep Clean?

    • Everything in the Basic Clean plus...
    • Wet-wipe of all surfaces including spot wiping doors and walls
    • Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen stove grates and hood fan 
    • All backsplashes 
    • Ceiling fans and air vents 
    • Polish metal hardware 
    • Change bedsheets (No Wash)
    • Light organization of bedrooms 
    • Scrub down shower curtain 
    • Disinfect door knobs and light switches
  • What's included in my AirBnB Clean?

    The fantastic thing about our Airbnb Cleaning and Restocking service is it is completely custom. We will come out and do a walk-thru with you or your property manager, fill out our  service questionnaire about what exactly you would like done, how often, how much, etc. We also have laundry service available as well as a damage report. This report can be emailed to you on a timely basis that you set up.


    We also honor out-of-the-ordinary requests for a fee, so go ahead and ask.

  • What is included in my Move-In/Move-Out Clean?

    When booking our Move-In/Move-Out clean, you can expect an all inclusive service. This is our most detailed package and includes a Deep Clean plus 4 of the 12 extra services we offer; which you can add to any level of service. These extras include: Inside oven, inside fridge, inside cabinets, and baseboards. This clean is intended to turn the home someone once lived in, into its original state and ready for new homeowners.

  • Is Tipping Normal? If So How Much?

    Yes it absolutely is normal. However there is no suggested percentage, whatever feels good to you. Any amount is appreciated by your Home Cleaning Specialist.

  • Does The Crafty Clean charge extra if I have pets?

    Absolutely not. We love animals and the environment here, so why would we penalize you for having one? Nope, we consider it just part of the job, just like your pet is part of your family.  

  • Which service do you recommend for new clients?

    A deep clean is recommended for all first time cleaning by The Crafty Clean.  It allows us extra time to get all the areas that have been missed during regular cleanings in the past and gives a great starting point to work from. After the initial deep clean, most customers switch to a standard 2 hour clean. However, if you are just switching over from one trusted cleaning company to us and it has only been a week or two, then purchase any cleaning that is closest to what you were previously receiving.

  • Do You Clean Any Outside Surfaces Of The Home?

    Yes. We clean patios and garages.

  • How can I trust your cleaners in my home?

    Our Home Cleaning Technicians go through a fairly rigorous application process to be employed with us, including being federally and state wide background checked, multiple interviews, and a personality questionaire. We pay well and take great care of our people so that they continue to take amazing care of your home.


    We trust our people so you can too.

    We are also fully insured just in case.

  • Does Crafty Clean use "toxic cleaning materials?"

    The Crafty Clean prides itself in caring for our environment so we will always us "green," environmentally-safe, cruelty-free, cleaning products first. However, in some instances “Harsh” chemicals are strictly used on tough to clean areas. For example, a glass shower door with calcium buildup will require CLR to clean. This is seldom the case, but does happen.

  • What if something breaks?

    This seldomly occurs but accidents do happen. Please  contact our office immediately so we can work with our insurance to get the object of value replaced.

  • Do I Have To Be Home When The Cleaners Arrive Or Depart?

    Not at all. However, if it’s your first time signing up with Crafty Clean, initial introductions always help develop the personable relationship with your Home Cleaning Specialist.

  • Where do I give feedback?

    We will send you an email once the clean is complete asking you for feedback. Please do take time to complete this as we like to give our cleaners a bonus for receiving a five-star review. We promise to act on any feedback you send us as we are a young company trying to improve, so please do share any suggestions that you have on how we can improve. If you loved our service, please leave us a review on Yelp and Google, it will help us become better in the future as we grow.

  • Cancellation Fees and No Shows

    If you cancel before 48 hours, it's not a problem, we appreciate you letting us know.


    For any cleaning service canceled less than 48 hours after the scheduled appointment time, the cancellation fee is $75.00, or the charge will be held until another appointment can be booked, if you have a recurring cleaning contract.


    If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the cancellation fee is 50% of the appointment total.


    We use this fee only to help pay our cleaners who would otherwise be cleaning for another customer. 


    If we show up and can't clean or can't get in. We wait 15 minutes and try to contact you. If all our attempts to contact you fail, then we charge for the full cleaning.

  • Other Fees

    At The Crafty Clean, we believe that one day a week should be dedicated to family, friends, and rest. As such, we charge an additional fee for cleanings scheduled on Sundays. ($50-$75) This fee helps compensate our technicians for taking time away from their loved ones to provide you with the exceptional service you expect.


    While the fee applies, please know we are always happy to accommodate your cleaning needs, even on Sundays, should you absolutely require it. We truly appreciate your understanding and support!

  • What forms of payment do you take?

    We take your credit or debit card details at the time of booking however we will only process payment after your cleaning service has been performed. We accept all major credit cards (including American Express) and debit cards for payment. We are working to expand our ability to accept other forms of payment. We appreciate your patience. We do not accept cash or checks unfortunately.

  • Do you charge for rescheduling?

    We do not charge for rescheduling as long as it is done before 48 hours of your original booking. Please see our Cancellation Fees FAQ for further information.


    If you need to reschedule, adust it on a request form and submit it or email us.

  • When is my payment processed?

    Payments are processed when your home cleaning service is completed. You’ll most likely see the charge within 24 hours after a cleaning. For subscribed services (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), payment will be processed the day of the service.

  • How do I get a custom quote or estimate for my house?

    Normally the price that you quote yourself on our website is 95% accrurate for most of the houses. If you have a custom/special request that you think will affect the pricing, please visit our contact us to discuss. 

  • Discounts/Coupons

    Normally you will find our promotions directly available on our site or through Yelp. In which case, they will automatically be deducted in your quote which you will see. Please let us know if we missed something.


    If you happen to have a coupon or discount code, let us know ahead of time so we can take care of that and add it in to your quote.

  • What if I find something that was missed?

    The Crafty Clean Guarantee: If you are not happy with the service or find something that is listed on our cleaning menu that was missed, please contact us immediately for further instructions. We will be happy to send a a cleaner(s) back out to re-clean the room(s) for you. A re-scheduled clean must be made within 24 hours of the original appointment.
